Beautifully crafted black and white alabaster chess set, hand-made by Scali Alabastro of Italy. This luxury all-alabaster chessboard is constructed from inset squares of solid alabaster that are fused and then polished down to create a very high-sheen playing surface.

The chess pieces are crafted by hand from solid alabaster and are presented in a classic Staunton design and polished to a high gloss. Simply beautiful to play on and equally beautiful and joyful to admire.

Please note that alabaster is a natural material, not manufactured and as such may have speckles and marks that look like flaws but are actually natural peculiarities of the stone.
