Finnesburg ornate brass and nickel chess pieces perfectly matched with our new 52 cm briarwood and elm chess cabinet with drawer, designed and constructed in Italy. The medium-large cabinet will make a bold, yet elegant statement in any household, exhibiting an exquisite playing surface of briarwood and elm veneer squares, coated in a quality satin lacquer finish.

The Finnesburg chess pieces are of a solid brass and nickel-plated brass construction with beautifully detailed decorative embossing. They have a reassuringly good weight and feel nicely balanced in the hand, and are cast and hand-finished. The design is based on the classic Staunton concept, however, the result is something more allegorical and detailed.

The pieces are fitted with red felt pads on their underside to protect the playing surface and are presented in a special cardboard presentation box, making them the perfect gift.
