Elegant Bath rosewood chess set inspired by Georgian architecture, paired with a traditional walnut board and solid wood box – a refined, compact classic.

Since 2009, we’ve been selling the huge 10.8cm version of this set on our massive 60.2cm chessboards. It seemed crazy that this set wasn’t available to enjoy in a smaller size, so we’ve developed the 9.5cm king version. This means that the pieces fit comfortably on a medium-sized chessboard and sit snugly in our solid wooden box.

Each piece has been precisely crafted from fine cuts of rosewood and boxwood, weighted in the base for optimum balance and polished to a medium gloss. The chessboard is one of our very traditional walnut range that sets off the chessmen perfectly. Definitely one of our most precious and beautiful chess sets.
