The Executive chessmen, with the additional queens, are each crafted from a solid block of boxwood and finished to give the appearance of ebony but not the price tag. The classic Staunton design has been exquisitely carved in the same painstaking manner as in the exotic woods resulting in pieces that will sit majestically on this beautiful Spanish walnut and maple deluxe board. With its high quality materials and finish, these two components complement each other perfectly.
To create an extra special set, there is the addition of a lovely wenge coloured box from Greece that will house your chess men when not in use and to complete it, we have added a clock which again complements this set beautifully. Please note that this clock has a wind up mechanism and requires no batteries.
