Inspired by Mughal architecture on the Indian sub-continent, and named after the Hindi word for 'proud,' these luxury chess pieces are perfectly matched on a stunning Italian board.

The dark walnut burl luxury Italian chessboard has deep, natural rivers of wood grain that complement the chess pieces upon it wonderfully. Like the pieces, this chessboard is handmade by a team of craftsmen who spend weeks creating each one. As far as we're concerned here at Regency Chess, the workshops at Italfama produce some of the best chessboards in the world.
